Introducing the xCELLigence Immunotherapy kit – B Cell killing assay

Jul 28, 2016

ACEA’s xCELLigence Real-Time Cell Analysis (RTCA) instruments utilize gold microelectrodes embedded in the bottom of microtiter wells to non-invasively monitor cell number, cell size/shape, and cell-substrate attachment strength. By pre-coating these wells with an antibody that is specific for B cells, B lymphoblast cancers are immobilized and proliferate to the point of confluence. Upon exposure to diverse effectors (NK cell, T cells, CART, oncolytic virus, checkpoint inhibitors, etc.) a continuous kinetic trace of B cell destruction is automatically recorded by the xCELLigence instrument.
